Born in 1981 in Rennes. I graduated from École Centrale Paris in 2004, then I joined Arcelor research centre as a research engineer. From 2008 to 2011 I was a PhD student in the Lagadic team at Inria Rennes-Bretagne Atlantique, under the supervision of François Chaumette. I then spent 6 months as a research assistant in Ocean Systems Lab at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, with Yvan Pétillot. I was associate professor at Télécom Physique Strasbourg from 2012 to 2014, teaching Robotics, Discrete-time control theory and optimization. From 2014 to 2015 I was at IRT Jules Verne as a research engineer, for the prototyping of an autonomous mobile robot in the ship industry. Since 2015 I have been associate professor at Centrale Nantes and a researcher at LS2N (previously IRCCyN) in the ARMEN team.
Besides my teaching and research activities, I am the head of the Control and Robotics master (CORO) and its Advanced Robotics track. I also manage the EMARO joint master programme, that allows students doing their robotics master among three European institutions.
